Hello families! I wanted to introduce myself as the new director of Trinity Preschool. I started in October of 2024. I was previously a special educator for 20 years in public school at the elementary level and eventually discovered that my heart was in Christian education. So I decided to start small (hee hee)...with preschool!

I have been a devout Christian for the duration of my time as an educator, learning and growing with my ministry on the SUNY New Paltz campus, my alma mater.

I have always loved working with young children. They are super spunky, full of energy and kindness, made of hugs and kisses. These preschool years are foundational for their development. I hope that the truths of God's word lived-out stick with them for a lifetime.

Welcome to Trinity! I’m so happy to meet you! My name is Mrs. Cheri O’Hare, and I am the teacher of 3 year olds at Trinity Preschool. Our class is
affectionately known around Trinity as “The Owl Class”!

In the Owl Classroom, you will always hear lots of singing, (hooting), and music while we are playing and learning! That’s because my formal training began in Music Education at the Ithaca College School of Music.

Music is the easiest way to connect with people! It soothes and comforts, it helps us celebrate, and most importantly, it’s how we worship our Lord! Music is a crucial element in helping to develop preschool brains and bodies. Participating in making music helps to stimulate the brain as well as the body, and aids in helping develop and improve concentration, attention, focus, memory, listening, and gross motor skills.

I also have extensive training in Early Childhood Education and Child Development. I regularly participate in continuing education workshops
through ACSI and via online classes. I love learning new things so our class always is fun and inviting!

Teaching 3 year olds is by far my favorite age! I love how inquisitive and funny they are, and how eager they are to learn and explore. It’s also my
passion to share the Gospel with children! I am so thankful I get to be part of laying the early foundation of faith in the lives of these little ones! It has been a humbling experience, and one I am so grateful for! I hope and pray that as your children grow, they will always know how loved they are, and that the seeds of faith we plant in their hearts while they are with us, will grow and blossom wherever they go!”

My family and I live in the Hamlet of Wallkill. I have 4 grown children (Yes, I blinked!); three daughters; and a son. I also have 3 sweet cats! My house of worship is Clintondale Christian Church. When I’m not hanging out with my little friends at school, I love to go kayaking and enjoy God’s creation, hang out with my family, play my clarinet, and sing praises to God with my friends! So again, welcome to Trinity! We’re so glad you’re here! I know you're going to love it here!

My name is Mrs.Rola and I am the 4 year old PreK teacher at Trinity Preschool, also known as the “Busy Bee” class. I have a 2 year degree in Early Education and a Bachelors degree from SUNY New Paltz in Sociology with a concentration in Human Services. Before becoming a mother I was a teacher at an Early Learning Center for 9 years. I am a wife and a mother of two. Both of my children went to Trinity Preschool right through toddler time to graduating from the prek program. My family and I had such a wonderful experience sending our children to Trinity. I was so excited when I was offered a teaching position after my children graduated. I truly love helping my students become kindergarten ready while teaching them the love of Jesus. The Busy Bee class is filled with lots of learning through play, sensory experiences, messes, crafting, reading, building, praying, worshipping, socializing… and sooo much more! Our class is Holy Spirit led and the joy of Jesus fills our days together. I couldn’t imagine being at any other school and I know the Busy Bee Class is right where God wants me! In my free time I love creating memories with my husband, children, friends and family. I love to read and cook/bake for my family.  Please feel free to email me if you have any questions!

Hi, my name is Claudia Wiegmann and I serve as the Pre-k assistant in the 4 year old class. I chose to work at Trinity Pre-School because of my deep passion for educating young children and preparing them for kindergarten. As a mother of two children, including one who attends Trinity Pre-School, I understand the importance of early childhood education. I believe that pre-school is a place filled with wonder, where children learn social skills, express their creativity through arts and crafts, and begin to discover the truth and love of Jesus. Raised in a Christian household, I continue to nurture my faith as an active member of Grace Community Church in Washingtonville, NY. My former teaching experience at Leptondale Elementary School and role as treasurer for the Wallkill Nursery School has enriched my ability to foster a loving, learning environment for every child.
